About the Photographer
As a photographer, Nannette's work has taken her as far as Africa, where she has documented AIDS orphanages and international artists at the Harare International Festival of the Arts, and closer to home, where she has covered presidential campaigns and national celebrities. Her signature black and white portraits show a sensitivity and uniqueness that is both captivating and exquisite. Nannette's passion for photography is tied to the belief that, if time is taken to listen, everyone has a fascinating story to tell. Her latest political book: As Ohio Goes...Stories and Photos from the Front Lines. This book is a collection of photographs and interviews from the campaign trail of 2008.It is a rich collection of information that documents what gives Ohioans a unique historic perspective on presidential politics. Photographing the food for Addie’s Way holds a special significance since Addie was Nannette’s aunt and a very influential woman in her life.
